Well, as usual I totally forgot about the blog. lol. Not a lot to report. The past few months we did a restructuring to break the film into isolated components and then everyone focus only on that. A better plan of attack. Now we're working that plan. This film is SO cumbersome.
I wish I had received quality help when we filmed this thing, because bad green screen lighting can kill you in post. This is taking forever.

Hey, Doug. I've been shooting a lot of green screen lately for video announcements at my church. I've run into a lot of problems that I've been able to work out pretty well with my editing program. If you are willing, I'd love to take a crack at putting one of the scenes together as a test. I make no promises, but I'm willing to try. Email me at jaidenturrn@yahoo.com and we can work out some details.
David.

was the film shot interlaced or progressive, because screen lighting issues are never really as big of a problem as interlaced fields when doing keying =)

No answer to that yet whitecrow1?
I've got a room - the training room - and would like to know if there are any continuity issues I should consider in regard to the look and lighting.
Douglas tells me, "I just want this room to look like what it's supposed to be for Star Wars, a Sith Training room on the Super Star Destroyer."
It is a wonderful model, but never having really participated on something like the before, I'd like to know anything anyone would like to share.
Also - there doesn't seem to be a time issue involved. True?
There is certainly no crowd here. I hate crowds. Well , not HATE, but....
