In just three weeks the Online Teleconference has been a huge success in my eyes. I should have done this months ago. Live and learn. Those who need help are getting it and learning valuable technical knowledge as well. It's beneficial for everyone. We've managed to acquire a few more professional CGI Artists...I don't know how we get them, but we do. Well, I do know how since one of them directly admitted that the ONLY reason he jumped on board was because this website showed that we're completely serious about the success of this film.
On that note, we are making good progress now. ADR work by Carlo and Erik is going great. Tag (Brian Weckerly) got all of his lines in last weekend. Apparently he had Carlo and Erik rolling on the floor laughing. I knew he was perfect for the part. Other actors are getting their lines in too. Yes, it's a painstaking process, but in the end, it's obviously worth it.
Things in CGI land are definitely on a roll since we got 5 new people in just the past 3 weeks, and most of them are the professionals I spoke of already. And this is amazing...they have higher standards for the success of this film than I had originally going into it. Don't get me wrong, my goal has ALWAYS been to make the best fan film possible, but the key word here is possible. Apparently there are more possabilities than I ever imagined based on the current technology. Needless to say, I'm frickin ecstatic about the motivation of the CGI team. Especially since 80% of this movie depends on them.
That's about it. I hope to have a scene or two ready to go up on YouTube in the next few months to start showing the world what we're up too. Just enough to hook them and keep them coming for more.
